Ace the manager, and his team were awesome. Did a transmission service at Subiesmith for my 17 yr old sons WRX. They checked the entire vehicle and gave us a report on everything. Very knowledgeable about Subarus. One visit will convince you about the individual one on one attention to detail, compared with a dealership. They “Aced” it. Thank you. !

I have decided to stop wasting money at the dealership and couldn’t be happier with Subiesmith in Lakewood. I feel the shop and the guys who work there truly have knowledge of the work they preform. I also feel they want to keep your Subaru on the road and are honest when it comes to cost. I will be continuing to go here for life.

I had a great experience at this shop. I hit a median and bent my control arm on my Subaru. They got me in quickly and fixed the control arm in a few days. Buddy was very helpful and regularly updated me on the status of my vehicle. I will definitely use them again in the future.

It’s easy to simply say a business has great customer service. My justification for this location providing second to none service was the in depth inspection and the fact that Todd (I think it was Todd) really took the time to go through details of every aspect of the repair and I didn’t feel rushed. I was texted reminders and followed up with and it really provided a comfort and trust factor that is so important when you consider the at times expensive experience of maintaining a vehicle. It’s just a costly aspect of vehicle ownership. As long as I have a Subaru it will come here for service.

Could I make it more than 5? From 300 miles away I had a local dealer deliver a car for purchase inspection. The speed, care and attention to service in arranging the job were incredible. The service was, well, like Subarus…pretty darn amazing. The time they took to go over the report, share their expertise and really work with me to help me understand everything and make the best decision was beyond expectation.

As all these reviews make clear, this is a terrific shop. Transparent, thorough and wholly reasonable. All I immediately needed was a battery but their comprehensive free inspection found other important issues – and, yes, it’s an old car and I have no doubt all the issues they cited were accurate. At the same time, zero pressure and emphasis only on the most critical repairs. In this case, I told them I would probably stop spending money on the car (it’s 18 years old), which they completely understood. Even gave advice on looking for a replacement Subaru. Top-notch people.

The team at Subiesmith is always so quickly responsive, and accommodating of all issues big and small. I’ve had some larger scale issues handled by them and small, regular maintenance. The pricing has always been more than fair and the job is always done well! Trustworthy service all around.

This is our first time dealing with this business after our trusted mechanic retired. Super impressed so far. The techs are knowledgeable, the work was done promptly and the price was reasonable. The app used to document the 172 point free inspection might be my favorite thing. It let’s you know what’s passed, what’s due, what’s critical and exactly what it will cost. It’s an older subie so it’s nice to have a visual of where to put the $.
And the front office has coffee and barstools in front of large window so you can enjoy the show

Work done on time. The pre work inspection was very helpful and contained good information. I will be going back for all my Subaru repairs.
